Taal Heritage Tour

To walk through Taal is to step back in time. The colonial ancestral houses, the municipal building, the Agoncillo Museum, and the church all give the visitor glimpses of the past.

We met our guest lecturer, Mr Dindo A. Montenegro at Casa Punzalan. Highlights of this part of the tour include: the Sanctuario de Nuestra Senora de Caysasay, hagdan-hagdan ng Caysaysay (c. 1850, Chinese granite slabs of 120 steps), and the miraculous well of Sta. Lucia

We visited the Basilica of San Martin de Tours, built in 1857 and the largest church in South East Asia
